How did you get this info? Did you manually compile it?
It's publicly available on Countrywide's REO site. Yes, I manually compiled it. I've been keeping score for a while now. I believe that the prices of REO's is a pretty good leading indicator in the direction of home prices.
Definitely a reflection of the economy as a whole. Not only housing prices drop but the collapse of the credit markets. Eventually we will ride out this problem, but if you have cash now there are some bargains to be had.

Any chance you're able to compile a graphs (like the ones for Florida and California)for Connecticut?
what percentage of the outstanding REO asking price do you think represents a loss to CFC..now BOA?
